Danny Suite (Wallback, WV) won four bouts at the Appalachian State Open in the 125 weight class against NCAA Div. I competition.  Suite earned bonus points for the team in every match he wrestled. He opened the tournament with a fall over his Gardner-Webb (NC) opponent, then followed that performance with a very physical quarterfinal win by major decision against Daniel Gallagher of UT-Chattanooga.

Suite suffered his only loss on the weekend in the semifinals to the 25th ranked NCAA Div. I wrestler in the nation from Virginia Tech; but followed with a pair of victories in the consolation rounds, including an injury default win over Matt Peters of Virginia Tech, for third place.
