RIO GRANDE, Ohio — The WVU Tech men's cross country team finished seventh out of ten teams at the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (KIAC) Championship Saturday morning in Rio Grande, Ohio.
Freshman
Jesse Griesheimer led the Golden Bears with a time of 29:10 while fellow classmate
Darren Haydu ran a time of 29:19. Finishing out Tech's top five in the 8k were senior
Dominic Rich (29:38) and freshmen
Raquez Lockhart (30:20) and Chandler Horton (31:19).
Sophomore
Cai Carena (31:27), senior
Adam Westrick (33:28) and freshman Draven Doss (40:30) also clocked times for the Gold and Blue in the championship.
The Golden Bears will now head into the offseason as they look to prepare for their 2016 campaign.
