DELRAY BEACH, Florida -- After a spectacular season for WVU Tech men's soccer, the awards keep flowing in as senior Prince Idornigie was named a third team NAIA All-American while fellow classmate Hunter Moles and freshman Ignacio Tellechea earned honorable mention accolades as announced by officials Tuesday.

The three Golden Bears all played major roles in Tech's historical season that ended in the quarterfinals after a 2-1 overtime loss to NAIA National Champion Hastings College.

Idornigie, a Durham, North Carolina native, helped lead the Gold and Blue's defense during his career. The senior was known to battle on the field and win the majority of the 50/50 balls that came his way as a midfielder.

Idornigie, only the second Golden Bear in program history to be on a NAIA All-American team, was also named to the NAIA National Championship All-Tournament team this season and earned River States Conference (RSC) first-team honors.

Moles finished his career with 170 saves and a save percentage of 0.829. This season was a career-best with 72 saves including 11 in Tech's final two contests of 2016 during the NAIA National Championship. The son of Lisa Sutton and Marc Moles earned a record of 43-5-2 and earned 20 shutouts in four seasons as a Golden Bear. Moles was also named to the All-RSC first team this season.

Tellechea, who is the RSC Men's Soccer Newcomer of the Year, finished his first collegiate season with three top-ten rankings in the nation including No. 6 in total game-winning goals (6), No. 6 in total points (49) and No. 8 in total goals (20). The son of Alfredo Tellechea and Teresa Pacheco from Madrid, Spain, marked nine assists in 2016.

The NAIA All-America committee consists of the NAIA-Men's Soccer Coaches Association Executive Committee, the National Championship Games Committee and four men's soccer coaches—selected based on geography. Each team—first, second and third—consists of 11 members.
